I had a tidy up job this morning and on of the jobs was to trim a creeper off the top of a concrete water tank.
The creeper had found the manhole and found it's way inside. I didn't think it was ever going to end when I started pulling it out.

They aren't a problem in Canberra. Brrrrrrrr
Thanks. When I first looked at it I thought it must have been struggling from lack of water which was confusing since they usually don't require much and we had a wet winter and start to spring. When I looked at the back and middle though it was rotting away. A build-up of leaves from nearby plants breaking down I think. Almost like collar rot in trees.
Good way to spend New Years Day morning

Haven't had a chance to do much there with extended trading leading up to Christmas/Boxing day, so doing a bit of catch-up while the place is closed today & tomorrow.

I took this photo last year. Up on a clients roof trimming some conifers. Still one of my favourites.
