I can remember a time when we picked up someone`s bed with him in it (buggered if I can remember who it was), carried the bed down the fire escape from the top floor to the middle of the oval in pitch black and left him there, still sleeping. Then it dawned on me when we got back to A block (one of my very few moments of responsible thinking) that if he woke up and found himself where he was in his bed, it could have a severe adverse effect on his mental well-being, not to mention a heart attack. So off we went, rushed down the fire escape back to the oval, picked the bed up with the victim "STILL" sleeping, walked it back up the fire escape and back in his room. Then, we started asking him questions in his sleep and to our amazement we got all the replies we wanted lol. Then he sleep-walked to the toilets, took a leak and as he walked back to his bunk with us pushing him and shaking him, he took a swing at us with his fist and slammed the wall (STILL sleeping). Then I can remember us all going to bed worried and wondering if he`d ever wake up after the trauma we put him through. The first thing we did when we woke the next morning, was run to his bunk to see if he had woken up. Yep, to our relief, there he was...feeling fine but couldn`t figure out why his knuckles were swollen lol. Can anyone remember who it was? and can the guilty parties that took part in this episode please raise their hand cause I know I didn`t do it by myself lol you rascals.

Here`s an abstract of an email from Warren M. to Stephen C.

"But seriously, they were great days. Every now and then I think of some of the stunts and fun we had in those classrooms. One I will always remember is teaching the last class of the day on warm summer's afternoon when one of the JRs fell into a deep sleep at his desk and did not wake when the bell went off. The instructor and all the other JRs managed to clean up, put up all the chairs on the desks and creep out without waking him. The instructor wised up the cleaners (Old Vic) who deliberately did not clean that classroom that day."

Yeah well, what can I say, probably on chooks that morning and out of bed before everyone else so I just had to catch up on a little snooze lol. Same thing was done to me in Cerberus...bloody hopeless.

Can anyone give me any clues (new or old) to the whereabouts of Steven Sylvester? I know he was from NSW but not sure exactly where or even if he still lives in NSW. Also trying to track down DeHombre...dont know his first name. Any clues on him would be good also.

Adam 'Rockjaw' Tansell - Long time no see you old ratbag. How are things going? Doesn't this setup bring back memories!
I notice some familiar names such as Redondo, Geoff Powell (from Minginew WA if remember correctly Powelly) and a heap of others. Great idea the reunion - I'll definitely be there and looking forward to catching up with some long lost souls.
Now I've finally worked out how to get onto this forum I'll keep a good eye on it.

Hey Geoff, dont laugh alright....but we can send the money to Trevor via postal order. It`s ok, if he decides to do a runner, we`ll get him at the reunion.

Hey Guys, got my ticket booked, coming over from Perth on the Red Eye on the Friday night and back to Perth on the Sunday. Wont be able to make it to the golf game though. Can anyone suggest somewhere to stay, I haven't been to that part of the world since I left it in 1975? Thank christ for GPS so I can at least find the place again.I am a bit like Geoff Powell - cant find the bloody payment details - can someone send some details?
Catch you all soon
