Hey all of ya unable to make this one ,but hopingall goes well and hope to catch the next reunion. On a personal note im back home with my missus and kids. working on that, hey im a granddad too. If anyone has facebook add me ive got a few Lleuwin photos 46 I think there, on the subject of photos can we redo a circulation of the reunion photos again. Those of you keeping in touch, thanks, appreciate the emails and calls. Fantastic how 12 months can give us so many brothers and maybe the odd sister who have left their mark and will always be apart of where we,ve been and who we are,

G'day boys, long time no see. Hope everyone is going OK. Joined the forum listing last week and have been contacted by Jed and Bo since then. It was great to just hear from them - must be thirty years since I've had a yarn with most of you fellas. Living down in Tassie and have been in contact with Smoo late last year and have also contacted Tony Beven who lives over on the east coast. Been keeping an eye on the 48th web site and must admit am looking forward to the next reunion whether it be next year or the year after over in the west. Anyway guys keep the comments coming as it is great to see what everyone is up to. Ever in Tassie look me up - work (not own) in a hotel (Grand Chancellor) in Launceston or you can contact me on 0408 343 244. Cheers take care.

Hi all Ive managed 2 track down George Henderson on face book and have directed him to this site , luckily the rumour of his passing was incorrect. I bet no one more pleased than George, great to have you onboard again mate.

It seems there is always a quiet time on Forums. Usually it's about now until end of January.

On behalf of myself I would like to take this opportunity to wish all you guys a merry christmas and a happy new year.

Hi All of the 48th and others. I would like to wish you all a very merry christmas and have a great new year. Right now flat out trying to get a crop off. Rain is a great thing in winter a pain in the arse in the summer. Time becomes a great issue and patience etc runs thin. I must admit the forum is very quiet. But hey it is christmas time.
Take care all and have grerat time and a safe time.

Just a quick note to all to say that I am now living in sunny Mt Isa ( for a two year stint ). Far cry from York in WA. Contact mobile - email etc still the same. Was hoping to get down to Tassy over Christmas but that is not going to happen so will catch up with Greg at that pub in Launceston some time in the new year.
Merry christmas to all and have a safe and happy new year !
All the best
Alf Lawrence
